Yes, Hudson is 3 and yes, he was still in a crib. I have no reason other than he never attempted to get out and it was easier than trying to get him to stay in his room 10 times a night when he was younger...then there was all that new baby stuff going on as well. We have a really fun bed planned for our H-man but step one was to get him a mattress and let him give that a go for awhile. He's rolled off numerous times and has even ended up sleeping on the floor for awhile so I think our plan is a good one.
So when you no longer have a truck at your disposal, what do you do about buying a twin mattress? You just order one on Amazon. Seriously. Free shipping even. Nice.
Hudson was so stinkin' excited when his bed came...although, I'm not sure either of us really got it.
It came in a bag.
Vacuum packed.
Cut the plastic off, it sort of inflates itself, and viola! A mattress, with coil springs, mind you. So silly!
